Current Projects

As I enter my 2nd half, I'm doing things that use the experience I gained in my professional life with ACS Technologies and also things that I enjoy and never had time for in the past.

Business & Technology

Faith Based Strategies LLC - After 30 years in the faith-based technology business, I wanted to continue helping faith-based organizations leverage technology in ways that help them accomplish their mission. My experience has revealed that are technology/products/services in the secular market place that would work well in the faith-based world. I formed www.FaithBasedStrategies.com to help companies take their products and/or services to the Faith Based market place.

Estate Manager Pro - Through Faith Based Strategies LLC, I am working to bring private label opportunities of the content found at www.myestatemanager.com.

Time2Track LLC - My oldest daughter Maggie and I are now partners in a software company.  www.Time2Track.com is a product that was launched in 2004 to help students working on their Masters and/or Doctoral degree track clinical experiences. It is in use by thousands of students across the country.

Missions

After visiting Rwanda in 2008, Dr. Caleb King and I started Peace, Power and Light (www.PeacePowerandLight.org), a faith-based non-profit organization. The mission of Peace Power and Light is to support Dr. Kings work in providing health care through Shyira Hospital and 15 surrounding clinics, supporting the educational institutions and electrification of rural areas in Africa building and operating hydro electric generating facilities. Currently their focus is in the north western portion of rural Rwanda. My role is to represent the organization here in the US to increase awareness of the work of Peace Power and Light. This includes individual awareness and financial support through various methods for the various projects.

Photography

In the early 80's the software business began growing rapidly and the Campbell family expanded, photography became something just for the family. After picking up a digital camera in 2000, Hal was hooked again.  Since then he has taken thousands of photographs around the country and in Nicaragua, Italy, Central Europe and Africa. Perfecting photography in the digital world and actually getting his work off of the computer and in print is now where he spends part of his time.
